Mérida has a lot more to offer than its main square and colonial buildings. This private city tour combines the city's best-known sights with the places and experiences that match your interests.
We visit some of Mérida's essential landmarks, including Monumento a la Patria, Plaza Grande, the cathedral, the Governor's Palace and Casa de Montejo.
From there, we can adapt the tour depending on what you'd like to see — from the local market and traditional food to the city's cemetery and its history, or some of the less obvious sides of Mérida.
If you're interested in local drinks, we can also arrange a visit to a small distillery in a hacienda south of Mérida, where you can see how local rum and Xtabentún are made and taste them. And if you'd like to experience one of Mérida's traditional cantinas, we can include that too.
