Private Uxmal Experience - Designed Around You

This is not a fixed tour - It is a private day in the Uxmal region, desined around your pace, interests and travel style.

Uxmal is the highlight of this private tour - one of the most impressive and least crowded archaeological sites in Yucatán, known for its intricate stonework and open spacious layout. We plan your visit to make the most out of it, avoiding peak hours and adapting the pace so you can fully enjoy the experience.

What comes next is flexible. Depending on what you enjoy and which part of the year you are visiting, we can include different stops. Many guests choose to include a beautiful cenote with a more natural and off-the-beaten-path feel. If you would like to explore further ,we can also add another archaeological site such as Kabah, Sayil or Labná. For those interested in learning more about the history of Yucatán, visit to a traditional hacienda can be a perfect addition. And for travellers who want a deeper cultural connection, it is also possible to spend time in a small Mayan community, learning about traditional life and regional food.

Tour Itinerary

Our program is flexible and it fully depends on the chosen activities, but the typical day can flow like this:

Morning departure from Mérida - We usually recommend to leave early to enjoy Uxmal before the heat and crowds. Uxmal opens at 8 (and it is 1h 15 min from Mérida), so the departure time is fully up to you - from 6:45 AM and on.

Exploring Uxmal - at your own pace, but in average it takes around 2 hours to properly walk the site.

Second stop - would you like to see some more archaeological sites? Or are you interested in learning about the local life and spending the time in Mayan Community?

Lunch break - in a local family restaurant or as a part of the cultural experience in Mayan community.

Afternoon program - we can continue to take a refreshing dip in the cenote or walk around the historical hacienda.

Return to Mérida usually around 5 - 6 PM.
