Let’s explore Celestún — a peaceful coastal reserve just outside Mérida, known for its birdlife, mangroves, and quiet beaches.
We'll start the day kayaking through calm mangrove channels, where it’s common to spot birds like herons, ospreys, and — if we’re lucky — even a crocodile or two. Later, we’ll hop on a mototaxi and head deeper into the reserve to see the flamingo dorms (places where they sleep), away from the usual crowds.

To end the day, we’ll relax by the beach and enjoy fresh seafood at a local spot. Whether you're into birdwatching, nature, or just want a peaceful day by the sea, this is a great way to slow down and take in the beauty of Yucatán’s wild coast.
